Clutch Shaft Strip Down From A KM5A Gearbox
Here’s a tasty looking buffet minus the ham quiche thank goodness.
Ross has been stripping down the clutch shaft from a KM5A gearbox that a customer brought to us because it slipped when in gear.
Once taken apart Ross found the clutch plates in the input shaft were severely worn and beyond repair and the cone on the clutch shaft needed relapping. New seals and a shiny replacement part later makes for a happy gearbox, far more delicious than a sherry trifle.
